MY LITTLE SLICE AT LIFE....

Places I've been
Where do I begin? How about the eastern coast of the U.S. Specifically, Newport, Rhode Island. I spent many good summers here. Sailing, boating, hanging out with friends, bonfires on the beaches at night, the Newport Jazz Festivals, to name a few. Ah, it was so nice. To hear and see the likes of Buddy Rich, Herbie Hancock, and BB King.....Wow, the memories....I'm so thankful for the memories.
And speaking of memories, and great places, I feel myself 'taken' by a little area known as Armory Square, in Syracuse, New York. There's Stylenes (night spot/restaurant/bar/bands); the Landmark Theatre, Syracuse, New York (this a real neat redesigned older theatre that has the backing of the local community, and is one of Syracuse's "welcome to our webcommunity" for artist/musicians/etc. By God, the awesome and fun-loving boys of the Dave Matthews Band have played this venue several times. It doesn't get much bigger than that!!

Food & restaurants
I've had my share of exposure to numerous places in the U.S. to experience many different types of dining experiences. I enjoy the different ethnic foods. I'd have to say that Greek food is one of my favorites. But, that's besides the point. I am here to recommend some restaurants and/or town/cities that, in my personal opinion, are very good. Let's start out with Syracuse, New York. My God...If you happend upon this city, you must go downtown and eat at "the Blue Tusk" in Armory Square. They are rated 'A+' by natives. A "MUST DO"! Don't forget to go to Stylene's afterwards. You'll find a modern setting within an older city. Stylene's offers a bar and a dance floor, although word is they have recently changed their format. It's still a bar/restaurant/music 'joint' that attracts just about everyone.
